Tamara Yorks is the Director of Emergency Management & Homeland Security for the County of Genesee. She has worked in the Emergency Management Office for 8 years and County Government for 17 years. She received her Professional Emergency Management (PEM) designation in 2002. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baker College. She also served as a FEMA Disaster Assistance Employee during the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons. Tamara serves as the District 3 Liaison for the MEMA Board.
