| James Buttleman is certified as a Professional Emergency Manager through the Michigan State Police Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division. He holds many certifications in emergency management thought the Department of Homeland Security, Center for Domestic Preparedness, as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He is also a certified firefighter, medical first responder, CPR instructor, hospital emergency response team trainer, and an incident command system trainer.
James currently serves as the Director for Emergency Management in Mecosta County. Prior to that position, James served as the Northern Regional Planning Coordinator for Region 6 and an intern for Newaygo County Emergency Services.
